Hi Folks... just had the prostate seeding procedure last Thursday. Was wondering HOW LONG I can expect the bloody urine to continue. I know we're not "all the same", but in all the info the Doc left me with, there's no mention of the expected DURATION.
Thanks folks and best of luck to you all.

Hello Sack,
Welcome to the Forum. Glad you found us!
Given that I am some random guy on the Internet who has no idea, and that I was a surgery guy, not a seeds guy, here's what I'll bet your doctor will say, more or less:
Sometimes the bleeding will last a bit longer than others but it doesn't really matter how long it takes as long as things are headed in the right direction. You want to see a little bit less blood every day and you want it to be a bit less brightly colored each day. If you suddenly start seeing more blood, especially if it is bright red blood you need to call your doctor.
In the meanwhile, call your doctors office and ask to talk to his nurse with a question. Let me know how close I was.

Hi Sack, and welcome to HW. And, welcome to the post-seed world.
It's been six years since my brachy so my memory is a bit weak on some of the details (hey, I can barely remember what I had for breakfast). But, to the best of my recollection, the bloody urine was gone quickly (within days) but the bloody ejaculate stayed for a couple of weeks - just like after the biopsy.
If you want to read a long winded descript
ion of my brachy journey, feel free to copy and paste from my signature.
Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery and complete cure.

Welcome to HW, sorry you need to be here.
I had that done. It took about
a week before the blood really stopped. I found that walking or lifting heavy things could trigger extra bleeding.
My doc kept tell me, a little blood can look like a lot - just a drop will turn the toilet bowl red. Blood in my seamen lasted for about
three weeks.
Don't know what 'normal' is but that's what happened to me.
Hang in there and keep us updated on your progress.
