Gee, the HT may be starting to wear off, but I find it difficult to control my emotions.
In the last ten minutes, I'm reading updates regarding Mal, Mr. Kuk., Terry H., and Don.
It just
opens up to my consciousness the fact that we are all here because the bottom line is that we are dealing with a very scary disease, as well as the usual horrible issues that can come up in life.
Not a good time for many of our HW brethren.

Mel, I am glad you posted this. I was thinking the same thing. It is hard to see our friends struggle. I too am very sad. It's great when we can all celebrate good news and then we have the days where it just sucks. Todd

(((REALITY CHECK)))
For YEARS I've said that if I can make it to my dads age and be in as good of shape that he is in I'll be set... He's 27 years older than I am.
Now that he's falling apart big time at age 86, I need to get off my buns and make the most of it while I still can.

I know that I think and pray daily for all the men and women on HW with PCa.
And yes, today is a tough one.

ONE DAY AT A TIME! Simple words to live by but difficult to practice.
Hard day for Healing Well members. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for all.
Keep the Faith!

its always fun to read and enjoy one's good news, but equally tough to deal with those dealing with bad things, just got to take it all in stride. as they say, it rains on the just and unjust alike. just got to stick together, and work through the good and the bad, there is strength in our united numbers and for the good of the PC brotherhood/sisterhood here.

It's never easy to deal with the bad news in life. Best we can do is face it with grace and understanding while offering what support we can - even if it's only to listen.
