Hello to everybody. I am new in this interesting forum and I had some doubts in regard to prostate problems. Maybe some of you are living a similar situation.
I am really scared because my father died 2 years ago when he was 72 years old for prostate cancer. I am 49.
The thing is that I had a 2,9 PSA result last December 2011. Last October 2013 was 3,6 and my urologist recommended me to make a biopsy. It was negative. Finally last May 2014 I got 3 PSA result.
My prostate was a little bit bigger than normal, 30 cc. but I have no symptom. I feel good and I have no pain nor sexual problems up to now at least.
Next November I will be made a magnetic resonance and a new PSA test before visiting my urologist.
Sometimes I have *********d with toys (no more after 3,6 PSA level!) even too much after my divorce to try to relax sometimes a day and I think that it could be a reason for the high PSA.
The question is could it be a Benign prostatic hyperplasia or the beginning of a cancer? I would just like to know your opinion about this. Thank you very much from Europe!
