Archon - None of what you are describing fits the pattern of prostate cancer, so you can relax on that account I think. I have not heard anyone describe similar symptoms in several years of participating on this board so I don't know what to suggest. It sounds pretty unusual. I think your plan to see another urologist is a good idea. You may still have infection. Are you in a life situation where it makes sense to have tests to rule out the usual sexually transmitted diseases?

thanks, i didnt think it was cancer. But didn't know where to post. And these threads had the word prostate in it

I've also treated it with a round of dioxolane?
if it was an infection wouldn't that have killed it?

I am new to all of this myself, but from what I have learnt here already it does not sound like PC.
The symptoms you have described sound very much like an infection, or maybe something like prostatitis even. Listed below are some of the symptoms of prostatitis. You can have all, some or none at all, depending on the type of prostatitis. It can also be very hard to diagnose and a biopsy is sometimes the only sure fire way of finding out. Hope this helps.

An urge to urinate often. But you may pass only small amounts of urine.
A burning pain when you urinate.
A problem starting the urine stream, urinating in waves rather than in a steady stream, urine flow that is weaker than normal, and dribbling after urinating.
Waking up at night to urinate often.
A feeling of not completely emptying your bladder.
Pain in your lower back, in the area between the testicles and anus, in the lower belly or upper thighs, or above the pubic area. Pain may be worse during a bowel movement.
Some pain during or after ejaculation.
Pain in the tip or base of your penis.
Perineal, testicular and bladder pain.

It's all about your PSA . If it's ok, it's not cancer normally but some kind of infection.

From what I have been reading you can also get a high PSA reading from having prostatitis.
