They put my sudden rise in PSA down to a bad day at the lab, as no infections were found after the biopsy. That said, it did not help my state of mind whilst waiting for the second reading.

Casper, we wouldn't need to remove the prostate at birth if we could just find a way to keep guys from **********, since that's what causes it...

Actually there is much documented evidence that regular spanking of ones monkey reduces the risk of men getting PC. So not sure who told you otherwise!

Just a weak attempt at humor, as I recalled reading out on the interweb some quack making a claim that pc was linked to too much monkey spanking... When in reality, as you mentioned, it appears to be just the opposite.

Yes, I've heard that too, most often from impatient pundits trying to skip a step. While it is largely true it provides little real guidance beyond keeping an open mind. Most things people ridicule are ridiculous, most ideas that are resisted are wrong, and self-evident truth is often in need of a bit more work. A very, very small percentage are nascent truths working their way through the system.

We have just got the new series of Gotham over here and each episode leads from one riddle to another with weird twists and turns on the way. Bring back BatMan I say, he will sort them out. That said, I enjoy the way Gotham messes with your mind.
