The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality released this document today but I can't find it on the internet. Some of the writers are my colleagues at ASCO and SWOG.
Document Title: Therapies for Clinically Localized Prostate Cancer: Update of a 2008 Systematic Review
Release Date: December 17, 2014
The document is highly technical and not patient facing. So it isn't for the newbie but it can be useful as well if you want to take the time to read it. I posted it at my website as this is a great comparison of the many treatment options out there for localized prostate cancer. It also lists various trials underway and the completion dates. A brief glance shows trials that are underway for PCa as well as the projected completion dates. Seeing one trial that concludes in 2040 shows me how entering a patient today in a G6 category has a very long life expectancy.
