Theresa, That is a shame about your dad's hip, the poor man had to be in such pain! Its too bad he has to have surgery but theren't many choices in his situation. I do hope all goes well.

Dad has had his operation, pelvis/hip replacement plus strengthning to to right leg, so if the leg gets a fracture they have something to work with!

He is doing well and was sat out today. Not sure what the long term implications of this is or how comon fractures are with prostate cancer.

Bone fractures are not so uncommon as HT and other treatments can weaken the bone. Glad to hear he's doing okay. Sending hope for continued progress.
