Gleason 9 6 years later

Just got my PSA. Just shy of 7 years RP, 3 years post IGRT. It came back at .05. Hooray. Been watching post IGRT bounce and it appears to be settling back down. Went from .02 to .08, then .07, .06, .07, and now .05.

As a gleason 9, I am very happy. If it stays around .05 for a while, I will be delighted. My big hope was that IGRT at a low was to get any of the little buggers that were laying around the prostate bed before they set up house elsewhere. So far, so good.

It seems like there are few routine Gleason 9 cases. Got to stay vigilant
and keep looking over the doctors shoulder. Multiple doctors, multiple opinions, and HW, and GFMPH. All helps to keep an eye on things.
