My husband has just had his latest psa results - just over two years since starting HT. His last reading was 0.01 and this was 0.02. Hope this is just a blip but cant help but worrying that the HT is beginning to stop working.

Hi Dabby,
From reading prior posts, it seems like a very small rise. The smart guys will reply soon with better info, but I want to offer reassurance and support.

that's not much of a change. Could just be a lab error. I vote for a retest.
You need to see an upward trend over a number of PSA tests before you can say HT stopped working.
What did the doctor say about
the result?

I think you might benefit from switching to a regular PSA test instead of an ultrasensitive one. At this point, the only thing the ultrasensitive one can do is drive you crazy. Not a bad idea to check T levels and make sure they're low enough. They usually want to see 3 consecutive rises above 0.2 on a normal PSA test with low T before they suspect castrate resistance.
