on my queston, on if they can remove pc if it grows back in around the same spot? dr said it has been done ,many times[ removing spots that pc has grown back] BUT THE SIDE EFFECTS are that you will be in diapers for the rest of your life, and that on studys their is no longer live span, then the people who just had a rad pro and imb radation treatment ? he also said that on rad pc operations some patents will have pc right on the out side of the colon, and that they don"t remove it . because of the lower quality of life, and having bags to wear ? and diapers, so that answered my pror post, but he said extra radation has the best change of extending your life, with the min of side effects,

allen, the nu 1 question is why pc when it starts to grow back, around where the old prostate was, why it can"t be removed, answer it has been tried not many times but the side effects are to great, and it does not extend live exp,

Ok, my translation: the OP has a question about why, if post radiation, the PC comes back, they can't do surgery to remove the spot. The jist is that they can, but the probable SE's are horrific...permanent incontinence, colonostomy, etc. And, nothing indicates that the surgery would extend life.

Sounds clear to me.
