Anyone have incontinence issues after IGRT using fiduciary markers?

Not full blown can't hold it and need pads, but I've had urgency. When I got go, I need to go now.

I keep a mental map of all men's rooms within 5 miles.

Over time it got slightly better and I've learned to time when I drink with the availability of toilet facilities.

No, I dun but during the later period of the RT, need urinate often, especially at night once or twice a must.
I m 2 mos post RT, the frequently pee-ing problem is over.

Radiation as a primary treatment seldom causes incontinence, even 5 years down the road.. But it does happen...But when used as a salvage treatment to surgery, the likelihood is somewhat higher. Much depends on your situation before the treatments starts and the skill of your R.O.

But in my ART world, I went from 1 to 3 pads a day. The reason, based on more than one cystocosope, was RT damage.

Here lately I'm at 4 pads per day because of RT damage, per uro & gp (RO has retired and closed practice).
