Hi People
if you tried xofigo and recall what happened to your PSA during the regimen, I'd love to hear. Or if you just happen to have some info on the typical increase, since there are some people on this board who should have a PhD in prostate cancer by now...
My husband just got his blood work today and I'm looking for info to help me make sense of the PSA number we'll be seeing in a day or two. I know the PSA often rises and you're not supposed to stress out about it, but I'm not sure how much it increases. Last month's blood work (which was done 3 weeks after his first xofigo transfusion) showed a much bigger jump than I expected, and when I asked his doctor, he seemed a little concerned too but didn't want to say what's typical (or couldn't, maybe there is no typical).
I know, we're not supposed to pay attention to PSA during this, but still, it worries me to potentially ignore evidence this isn't working, and let that cancer get 6 months stronger.
thanks
