Hubby had PSA last week. This is 1 year after finish of ART. Was PT3B after surgery. PSA rose from .03 in November last year to .05 in February., .17 in May and now .41 only two months later. Recurrence. We see Dr Slovan with MSK tomorrow. HT looks to be a definite. Can't figure out doubling time but if we go by the last 3 PSA's it doesn't look good, even if it took 16 months after surgery to start to rise. A concern we have now is his testosterone level. The previous test with PSA at .17 had testosterone at 200. This latest test has it at 48. He did have ART last July. Could this just now be affecting his testosterone? And if the whole point of HT is to suppress testosterone and it is now at 48, will HT even work? I know these are all questions we'll get answers to tomorrow but value your thoughts and input.
