This year's PCRI conference in Los Angeles is September 11-13. Who else is going?
I will be there September 12-13.
I'm disappointed Dr. Snuffy Myers is not going to be there. I was hoping Dr. Kwon was going to be there but he is not listed.

Yes , I really want to go if I can afford it, I live in So Cal so could stay home and then drive there each day. Trying to decide which one day is best for us with advanced condition. I think I missed the discount price deadline. Hope others that went last year will chime in. Thanks for the reminder about
it too!!

Wings,
Saturday is alway best. This year Beer, Drake, and Oh are doing the more advanced PCa discussion though Scholz will address it as well in his discussions.
I'm a regular there. I have attended about
6 or 7 of these events.

Cicero,
Kwon is every other year pretty much. Myers I've seen a dozen times. His talks never change much. I think he mostly promotes his books. He's a nice guy and has some excellent input. But much of his ideas on nutrition and interactions are in desperate need of prospective studies. That's not to discount them but rather state that the ideas need verification of efficacy.

The hubby and I just signed up. Is this conference of value to someone who has had a recent RALP?

Yes.
In my opinion, anyone above Gleason 6 has a significant chance, perhaps 50%, for eventual relapse. Therefore, following, learning, networking about
the technology of PCa care is valuable.

I went last year and found the PCRI conference very worthwhile.
If cost is an issue for you make sure you avail yourself of the bring a friend for free gimmick which spreads the now $120 fee to $60 each if you bring a spouse or pair up with someone else attending.

I was thinking of going, but I didn't see any workshops or discussion on writing poetry about
PC, so I am not going to go this year. Maybe next year if they have a poetry writing track...

Andrew's not going
Because he will be busy sewing
And now you know it
Why I am not a Po-et

Teacher - If asked, I might.
Mel - technically that's a poem. I won't make any comments about
the quality of verse...

A verse is a verse,
So don't be so terse.
As a first grade teacher,
Believe me, I've heard worse!
With that said, I also say good night !
