I had heard that Cuba had excellent health care, but it's fascinating that these substantive medications could be available--yet unheard of--just 90 miles from the US.

I would agree with the "grain of salt" theory in some instances and publications. Some headlines, such as movie stars impregnated by aliens, and mysterious sea monster found in Lake Erie, are all just a bunch of hogwash that we see in the grocery store check out line. However, this was also reported by USA Today, ABC News, Oxford Journal, Chicago Tribune, etc. In addition there are trials at Roswell Cancer Institute in Buffalo. I firmly believe they may be on to something. For the sake of my children and grandchildren, not to mention the entire world, I hope so.

So who is the leader in Cancer research? Cuba had it 20 years ago. Really; should politics, government, nationality, etc. be the determining factor in issues such as this?

Oncologist told me once that not only is cancer a terrible disease, it is also big business. That was right after he (yes, the Doctor) asked me what type insurance I had.
