Been a while since I have posted. Been looking back to see how everyone is doing.

Not sure what my uro will suggest at this point. I have been on this road for 6 years. I seem to be a lot calmer than when this first started.

In any event PSA is at 6.7 and up .5 in 6 months. Having said that I could be down .70 next time. So I am looking at the long term results. PSA has increased about .4 per year for the last 6 years with 2 negative biopsies and a negative MRI.

Not on a steep curve but trending upwards. Had some big jumps and big decreases but that seems to be caused by inflamation. PSA has been realatively unchanged for over 2 years except for this latest increase, which based on my history may not be an increase at all. Last biopsy was 4 years ago so we will see where it goes. Last visit he was thinking of waiting until I get in the 7's.

Any suggestions or thoughts would be welcome. Greg

Sorry, forgot to include my signature info. No history of PC, very small prostate (bottom 15% so biopsy guy says), no urgency or stream issues. Have experienced some post urination dribble but so have all my friends my age and doc did not think it was an issue. DRE has been normal. Lucky enough, tomorrow I get to and have a tooth pulled, they are putting me out....that will distract me for a while!

Unless the MRI you had was taken with current mpMRI T3 capabilities and an experienced radiologist, I wouldn't rely on the negative finding too much. I think I would want the best MRI I could get and a urologist who can perform a fusion biopsy from the MRI images if necessary. If you don't want to go the MRI route again, or think it's not necessary, you might consider another biopsy but ask your doctor for a saturation biopsy with 24 cores. Your prior finding of ASAP, low FPSA, and relatively high PSA (unless you have very large prostate) increase the risk of cancer.
