DH had his 7 day post op appointment today. Catheter is now a memory, Yippee for him! He had 1 major leak after leaving the office, but then just a few little leaks after that, which is so awesome.
The Pathology report was also reviewed today and we are just so over the moon happy! Praise the LORD! Cancer was totally contained to the Prostate! Sorry for all the !!! we are just so excited. I thought my wedding anniversary Nov 11th was the best day of my life, I think Nov 2nd is my new favorite.
Adenocarcinoma
prostate wt 57g,
4 nodes neg (3 on rt, 1 on left),
sv-neg,
neg margins,
neg PNI,
Billateral involvement (Biopsy had said only rt side)
grade G7(3+4) pattern 4, 30%
Staging pT2C
So, next visit in 5 more weeks with his surgeon. Now that he has lost his catheter leash, I'll have to watch him closely that he doesn't overdo it. (how does one hold down a stubborn Frenchman?).
