Nearly 6 years PSA IN.

Just received my PSA Nearly 6 years since my RP I was Gleason 4x3 =7 PSA 9.
Only treatment was my RP, PSA today 0.04 same as 6 years ago but over the years
has fluctuated highest ever was 0.07 6 months ago but normally 0.05 go figure.
So now go from 6 month testing to yearly thank god I feel so blessed having lost
my cousin this year who was diagnosed same time with same numbers.

Thank you could not ask for better Xmas gift as I was expecting bad new .......
Often wonder if friends relatives etc understand the on going stress
we go through with our PSA testing at times it seems there is no end
to this awful disease,but for now can try and forget it for 12 months.
But the ones not doing as well are always in my mind and prays.

Congrats Tony ... as a new member here and post RP surgery, I still want // need to stay informed. This is not to say that my routine visits to my Dr and staff doesn't provide the info and support I need but often times its better coming from those who share the experience. As you said "Often wonder if friends relatives etc understand the on going stress we go through with our PSA testing". Unless they are also facing a similar experience, they can NOT know even if they express an honest "I know how you must feel"
