Anyone else taking phenazopyridine regularly?

WOW...

100 seconds seems like a REALLY long time when your in a hurry-

I'm hooked on phenazopyridine, and a little concerned about why most people only take it for a few days, but I need it to pee semi-comfortably a year after my radiation treatments.

I haven't met anyone who took it more than a couple of weeks after radiation. I wonder if continued use causes dependence. What does your urologist say?

He said it's just a dye, but said I can only take it for short periods, and then need to come off of it for a while...

Well it is a dye, but it's not "just" a dye - it obviously has physiological effects on the mucus membranes. I think it's a good idea to follow your doctor's advice. You don't want to be dependent on it.
