I haven't been here in a while, so just throwing this out there in case it may help even one person, not to worry so much like I did. Worry helps nothing. I was terrified even the night before my last blood test. My psa and cholesterol have been climbing since 2010. I had a negative 12 core biopsy, normal dre, normal pca3, I'm on flowmax. My psa has been in the 5 to 8 range going up a little, down a little at times. It went to 9 in late 2015 and then 12.33 on 11/20/2015. I told my urologists office I need to come in now, not 2 months like they wanted. He said we will schedule a 60 core biopsy, where they put me out and maybe an mri also. I've had some luck getting my psa down slightly in the past so I told the doc one more try. So i took everything I could find helpful to the prostate.
Of course its possible some of this may MASK CANCER, but will ask the uro next thursday when I see him. He isn't into the natural stuff but is very open to "whatever works", he went to johns hopkins. Its also very possible I have bph and not cancer. I was on antibiotics before which did nothing.
I did all this in the last 8 weeks
Back on a statin, they fight inflammation. I've been on them before, they give me muscle pain. This new one doesn't yet, livolo.
Stopped benedryl, i read it irritates the prostate.
My protein powder had creatine. I read this raises dht, no more of that.
Upped my exercise routine(i'm a health nut) and lost 5 lbs in 8 weeks. Started kegels and interval raining.
Ate, drank anything prostate helpful, pumpkin seeds, tomato sauce, soy products, flaxseeds, coconut oil, pomegranate in the blender, matcha green tea, ginger/tumeric tea.
Supplements, prostate formula - any of the combined saw palmetto, nettle, etc. Added Zyflamend I was on this before I think its a good one, there is some research. The gamma(only gamma) form of vitamin E, ginger, turmeric, lycopene, broccoli extract, plant sterols, pomegranate extract, green tea extract, selenium, zinc, resveratrol, boswellia. Some but not a lot of graviola, ip6, and modified citrus pectin, questionable research in my opinion.
None of this is new to me, just never this much and all at once. The only things I had never tried before are matcha and gamma E.

Note: 0.03 NG/ML IS THE LOWEST FUNCTIONAL SENSITIVITY THAT IS RECOVERABLE WITH A COEFFICIENT OF VARITION LESS THAN 20 PERCENT. VALUES LESS THAN 0.03 NG/ML ARE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM ZERO. THIS PSA TEST WAS PERFORMED ON ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS COBAS 6000 INSTRUMENT. THE MEASURE TOTAL PSA VALUE OF A PATIENTS SAMPLE CAN VARY DEPENDING ON THE TESTING PROCEDURE USED. TOTAL PSA VALUES DETERMINED ON PATIENT SAMPLES BY DIFFERENT TESTING PROCEDURES CANNOT BE DIRECTLY COMPARED WITH ONE ANOTHER AND COULD BE THE CAUSE OF ERRONEOUS MEDICAL INTERPRETATION.
