Pathology Report, Feedback is welcomed

I received my post RALP path report a couple days ago. Radiation follow up likely? Hopefully I have included all pertinent information. PSA lab in about 6 weeks. I welcome your thoughts.

Prostatic Adenocarcinoma, G 3+4=7
right lobe involved. right resection margin very focally positive, perineural invasion present.
4 lymph nodes right pelvic - negative 5 lymph nodes left pelvic - negative, extraprostatic extension absent. involvement of apex, present. Margins, right parenchymal resection margin very focally positive Pattern 3, estimated % of tissue involved by tumor: 10% seminal vesicles uninvolved, lymph - vascular invasion; not identified. TNM code pT2b, pN0

Mack, that's not all that different from mine, except for the PNI. And, from what I've gathered in here, PNI is a vaguely interesting pathological finding that usually doesn't mean much as far as downstream treatment is concerned.

Most likely, they'll do a PSA in 6 weeks...which will show a trend but likely it won't be the final word. Usually that takes until the 3 month mark, by which point you should be non-detectable. After that, it's monitor PSA for a while on a 3 month schedule.

Get stronger, walk a lot, eat healthy. You're well on your way.

Thanks to all for the replies. I guess being a rookie at this, I wasn't happy with the PNI, but now understand it is not uncommon. Overall my surgeon is pleased and he has been great. I am walking as much as I can, hopefully getting incontinence to improve, though it doesn't seem to be too bad. My surgery went well, with no pain afterward. Only the soreness with in incisions. Overall, for my first time being admitted to hospital, it has been piece of cake. May be difficult for some to believe, but true. I hope others about to undergo RALP have equal success.
