Still out here

I stepped away from this forum for quite a while. I got 2 years out of Xtandi and then my psa jumped up to 150 over a couple months. Started on Zytega and after 1 month my psa dropped to 24! Doctor wants to start me on Zometa next month. Hell the cancer has been the least of my problems. At the very end of 2015 I had two blood clots found in my arm I then had a stroke. No lasting effects from that and the thinners have taken care of the clots. Then in late January I had my colon rupture and had to have a foot of it removed. Was in intensive care for two weeks and the Docs thought I was a goner. Been back home now for about two months. Next blood work will be the first of June. After the huge decline from just one month on Zytega I hope it will give me more months of control.

Bololidat, I wish I was sitting in Hawaii! I am worn out from the other issues other than the cancer. I was dx in August of 2012 psa 200 and spread to bone and nodes. Been thru just about everything but Chemo, including provenge. These treatments have kept me going with little side effects. I have had a good cancer team.
