AUR Blues

I started AUR April fifth. Catherter in for two days. Still no void. Cath back in. I was out of town. Flew back and saw my uro on that Monday. Took cath out. Still no void. Cath back in. Couple days later had scope. Cath in and set up for greenlight. Did that. Three days later Cath out. Voided a dribble. Weak stream. Cath back in the following day. The rn had some trouble getting it in but finally success. Blood. Clots everything. A few days later spasms started. Catheter is draining but I think there is something just not right. See my uro couple days later. Cath is removed. No void. Cath back in now after a blockage he got it in. Says we will keep it for two weeks and go from there. I haven't had spasms but from time to time I get stomach pain. Like a burning and have diarrhea. Anyways anyone have this type of experience and what can I expect? I had bph which caused the AUR. Wondering if I'll be Cath free some time.

AUR - acute urinary retention ... I had that once..It turned out to be a bladder stone inflaming the sphincter and preventing urination. A Cystoscope procedure found the stone and removed it and problem over...

That's what I thought it was going to be but its bph.
