can prostatitis cause sciatica like symptoms?

Hi new to this wonderful forum and currently awaiting first visit to urologist due to PSA rising from 3.1 to 7.5 in 14 months. UTI has now been ruled out (rats) so I am hoping that maybe chronic prostatitis is the culprit. Have noticed sciatica like symptoms the last couple of days (pins and needles in left leg and foot). Can chronic prostatitis manifest itself this way?

Sciatica can cause brutal pain in the buttocks and all the way down the leg to the ankle and is a result of a disc in the lumbar region of the spine pinching a nerve. I've had sciatica and prostititis and there's no comparison between the two based on my experience. Prostititis causes frequent and burning urination. An orthopedic doctor would opine on sciatica whereas a urologist or gp would treat prostititis.
