Have a plan

Turn 65 in December I have VA care priority 8 ($9 each med $15 each Dr. Visit $50 each advanced test or specialist. A plan the could end at any time. I will be rated at 10% disability. Which is about $150 I may be rated more no I got lucky not to go to Vietnam when drafted no agent orange. I did have other injuries which may assist me. This will cover AARP United Health Care supplemental and part D which will pay my VA care. Or if I choose go on medicare and the supplemental. It is nice to have a choice. If you see a hole plug it for me before I sign on to my Supplemental. Thanks to the forum for any guidance. Fly

Not sure I understand the question.

However, my father was a WWII vet with a service connected disability. He had both VA benefits and Medicare, but not a supplemental program. We got all his routine meds and exams at the VA and for some things and emergencies (he had a lot of strokes), we use the local hospital that took Medical.

Rules have changed a lot since he died, but having both VA and Medicare could be a good thing.
