I've been having aches and pains here and there. Like pain in both hips. I've recently noticed a hard lump at the bottom of my breast bone, that is very painful to press on. And my back pain is getting worse, when I lay flat on my back.
Nothing too terrible, but the fact that these pains here and there, combined with my rapidly rising psa (up to 9.9) have me very concerned that my cancer may have already spread to my bones, even though my urologist isn't too concerned...
I was finally able to get the long awaited mri done on my left hip last week. I'm pretty sure I've been living for years with torn cartilage in there.
Lying flat on my back for that test was a real chore, and had some serious stiffness and pain trying to get up and walk back to my car after the test was finished. Hope to get some results from that today or tomorrow.
I've had other issues too, like fatigue that comes and goes, and also a wicked prostatitis attack, that is ongoing, but greatly helped with cipro.
I'm really ignorant about
metastatic prostate cancer, and really hope I'm way off base with this "feeling".
But after doing a quick search that gave a really dismal outlook of long term survival for distant metastasis, I'm currently in "panic mode"...
My 8 year old son, and his mother both need me.
