Well, Todd, Sunday was my day to join you in "suckworld." First, I had to take my DW to the airport to fly off to a work conference. That, along with my pending PC treatment with all of its unknowns, put me into a certified funk. Then when I was coming back from the airport, I tried to open my garage door. "Tried" is the operative word. My car's built-in transmitter had forgotten all of its programming. I tried about 10 times to re-program it, and finally just got out the old "clicker" to operate the door.
Then I went inside to do a load of laundry. Really? The washing machine quit. . . with a full load of clothes in a tub full of water and soap. I tried all of the control resets, and nothing. Finally I got angry (finally?) and just punched it one, right in the control panel. It started up and did its wash cycle before stopping again. I had to baby-sit the dumb thing, playing with all of the controls each time it stopped to get it to move again. I finished my one load of laundry, but it took over an hour to do a 20-minute task.
Then I went back out to try to fix the garage door opener. I watched the you-tube video of how to re-program it. Seemed simple. Not. Nothing worked. I finally ended up re-setting the door opener itself, then had to re-program each of the 6 different devices that open it. At least I got it all working.
Finished all that and went back inside to just sit and watch TV to try to wind down to be able to sleep -- back to work on Monday AM.
Sheesh!
