Still bloody urine

about 11 days ago my spouse had his prostate removed and their is still a lot of blood in the urine in his catheter bag is this normal? He's scheduled to see the doctor later this week.

I was told by my surgeon that blood might appear in the urine for weeks. I hope your husband's recovery is otherwise proceeding well.

I was told 6-8 weeks of some blood or blood clots. I think as long as it's not really deep red, where it looks like hemmoraging, it's ok. But if you are concerned, you should call your Dr and ask. Better to err on the side of caution

I agree with pratoman by now I would think it should not be bright red,if ur really concerned call his Dr. And see what they say
