The Frank Talk site is run by folks who are reputable (I've met them).
The prices on pumps are all over, as many are not FDA approved. Mine was FDA approved, and because of that, insurance covered a large percentage. But to be honest, there are cheaper and equally valid ones in the market even after insurance. The benefit of doing it through insurance for me is that it qualifies as "durable medical equipment", meaning they will replace it if it breaks / wears out. So I can't speak to the inexpensive ones.
Mine is an Osbon ErecAid Esteem Manual (Timm Medical Technologies). I don't remember how much it cost, but it was a significant piece of change.
But it has at the same time held up well for six years.
