I know it is not the most important thing to post about...

I have been on Lupron since last June. Have the usual side effects, muscle loss, fat gain, joints that really hurt, a bit of a foggy brain and hair loss everywhere else but the top of my head.

Funny thing is I swear that my hair on the top of my head is getting thicker. Could this be real or is is just my fuzzy brain acting up?

I think that is pretty much in line with expectations. I don't have a great deal on top, but what is there certainly thickened up. It even started to cover over the bald spot I have near the crown.

On the other hand my facial hair became even fainter - I am fair skinned so never have a "5 o'clock shadow". Could even go a day without shaving and wouldn't be noticeable.

My hair was thicker--and even a touch curly--when I was on HT. Probably the only thing I miss about that.

I think Peter DA noted he developed, as he put it, some "useless cancer fuzz" on his head during ADT!

My head hair may have thickened a bit, hard to say. Hair changed everywhere else, mostly getting much much finer, or disappearing entirely. Aggravatingly my beard never relented, so daily shaving has always been required.

Arm hair got strangely long, like 3-4 inches some of it. Very fine, but very long! With my testosterone back, it has all returned mostly to normal.

There are a couple of areas that received a lot of radiation that will apparently never grow hair again. But no one else will see those!

Red, I was born and raised in Scotland, though now live in Australia.

As a kid we frequently took the mickey out of kilted men with the following verse:-

Kiltie, kiltie cald bum,
Went doon tae Waterloo,
The wind blew, the skitters flew,
And dirtied all his toodle-loo.

Hairless would be definite advantage there😄

Same here. Elsewhere I haven't noticed much of a change, if any but I was only on a six month Lupron injection.

Lol are you kidding? I lost hair on legs and chest. I'm bald and didn't grow any there.

so that is what it is called foggy brain? I sure have that, sometime my mind just floats away for a few minutes. I have been on lupron since 2/2014 with a double shot of fermigon in my stomach the month before. My doc told me I will be on lupron for the foreseeable future and now a year into xtandi and now started zytiga last month. After reading some of these other posts maybe I should take this thing seriously???
Ah heck must be a few good "Tool Man' episodes I have not seen or "Cheers". Its all good pain is not so bad anymore. And I thank the good Lord every time I go to the bathroom. I had a few times where I could not and that was not fun.
Dr. Who I thought all of what you said was because I was getting older.

Lost most of my body hair. Not much change on head, but beard is very fine and slow growing. I only shave once or twice a week. I have been off Eligard since last June after 2 years. T does not seem to be recovering very fast. Still having flashes and have the Lupron Fog. Appointment Apr 6 for blood test. Will see what's going on then.

I hope that your blood work on 4/6 has a great result. I also have some fog, sometimes my fog makes London look like a sunny day.
