I had prostate template biopsy 10 weeks ago the result came negative.drop of blood still shows some in my pants ,no blood in urine
i am worried not knowing if that will stop,i have appointement to see my urologist in two weeks time,

Congratulations on the negative biopsy! That is great news.

The blood takes a while to clear up. It took me 4 weeks after one of my biopsies. If you had a transperineal template mapping biopsy, they took a lot of cores out and pierced a lot of small blood vessels. They will clot and the blood will disappear. It looks scarier than it is - especially when you ejaculate. Avoid aspirin.

It can take awhile. One or two drops can seem like a lot.

Mention it to the URO, if it's still there in two weeks.

Thanks to Tall Allen and InTheShop your replay put my mind at ease ,It was 4 years ago i had low grade prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy ,i chose active surveillance only, two years later I felt normal and my PSA dropped from 10.something to 6 and carried on living as normal,last year my PSA gone up to 9.0 my urologist carried out template biopsy with negative results .
thank God I am cured,,and thank you for congrtulated me, I am so pleased I joined this HealingWell,and thanks to you all.

Sometimes ejaculating a few times "on your own" will help clear the blood out...
