it's so weird how much we rely on the MD comments and predictions rather than the patients' resilience, nowadays.
My friend's father was told that he would live 6 months with chemo, he had 2 runs of chemo and then refused to take more. This is more than 2 years and he is still here.
This is not denial, to me this means that the medical sciences have some limitations and cannot predict everything. Not more than 2 centuries ago, many people survived deadly diseases without access to medications, but just by their own physical and mental resilience.
Please keep us posted and don't give up.
