Here is the fourth and final teaser for "Thaw's Hammer."
By now you have probably finished reading the book, and I'll bet you have found out just how exciting a novel it is. It will be a lot of fun to begin discussing it June 1, in just a couple of days!
I'll start the discussion first thing, Thursday morning. All are certainly welcome to join us then, and you can still sign up now to participate if you wish!
Looking forward to talking to you all on Thursday, as we begin!
The main thread about
this (May-June) Book Club cycle:

Libby was ahead of her at the staircase holding a gun. "Stop!" she ordered. A bullet whizzed by her head so close it tore the material of her hood. Mirana jumped over the side. She swung from the rail and rolled onto the next lower deck. Libby had run down the stairs and was still ahead of her. She fired again. And again. Mirana jumped over the side. One more level to go, but Libby was determined and kept firing. Over to the bottom deck. As she got to the gate of the ramp, Libby slammed the iron gate shut in her face. "Nuh-uh! It's seems we're the only two left who aren't sick. You spread that bird flu among us, didn't you? It kills humans too—you lied about that as well!" "It's not bird flu—it's the Blue Cancer—you got it from that seal you brought on board." "Thaw's Hammer," copyright 2010, p. 231.
