Is it possible to have prostatitis after pc is cured with radiation ?

Depends on the method. With surgery there is no prostate, so no. With radiation there can still be some potential issues depending on the remaining amount of prostate tissue. I believe that TallAllen has addresses this in other threads.

My RO said prostatitis is still a possibility after my radiation treatment, cured or not.

Absolutely - I've had it, in fact. It is especially annoying because it elevates PSA and can give false positive readings. Fortunately, it usually remits on its own and PSA comes back down.
