3T MRI Insurance Hassle

I was scheduled for my fusion biopsy on 11/7, but we were never able to schedule the 3TMRI. Apparently a problem with some of the paperwork. So, no need to do the biopsy at this time without the 3TMRI image to go with it. Has anyone else had this problem? Carrier is United Health Care. I did speak with them and they said it normally take a few days to a few weeks for the review.

Well. UHC said the MRI was not medically necessary. I have asked the UR to appeal. Is it likely that the UR just did not ask correctly? The response from UHC was "your PSA has not elevated above undetectable for two readings in a row" I have not even been treated yet!
