I look on here often and see some of the old names still here

Thought I would just update to give some of you hope
I had open surgery 8 years ago PSA after op .06 went down to .05 Gleason 6 lost nerves on 1 side, I did not have any trouble with pee pee from day 2 and sex ok, after 2 years I stop bothering to have my PSA checked.

Thought I better have a PSA checked so I did it today still .05 pee pee still ok and sex ok but age might be catching up on that sometimes as I am nearly 73 now

Welcome back! Thanks for posting your encouraging story. For some of us that have some low level PSA post-surgery, it is comforting to know that even a recurrence, if that's what we have, doesn't always get worse and worse. Sometimes it just sits there, causes no harm, and we go on to live our lives.

You've got about five years on me. Yep, age does take it's toll! I'm noticing more day by day.

Here's to years more of event free post-prostatectomy. And Merry Christmas to all.

Colin, what Bobbiesan said. I too have low level PSA 3 years (next week) after RALP. So it's encouraging to see your experience. Thanks for posting.
