Lupron Holiday

So my last 3 month Lupron shot was in mid July. At the last appointment I had, my PSA was still undetectable at <.01. I have to say I don't feel any different than when I was on Lupron full time. I still get a few hot flashes a day and I have horrible night sweats that are waking me up almost hourly. I don't feel any difference in energy level either. This is discouraging in so many ways but then again maybe the 2 1/2 years on Lupron has rendered me a eunuch and will never have to get another shot. In all seriousness has anyone been through this? Am I having withdrawals from the Lupron? How long before I feel a difference?

2.5 years is a long time...
Nevertheless, keep the faith.

I'm in the same boat. Last shot in Aug, my last PSA <0.01 T-16. Still feeling the same way. It's going to take awhile for me to get back I'm thinking. Hoping this isn't my new normal.

Tall Allen, no I have not had T checked yet but will absolutely request it for the next visit. Is it just part of the blood draw for PSA or is there more to it?

T is a separate test with a fairly hefty price in the scheme of blood tests. It is not part of a normal PSA check for any Docs I know. Have to ask for it, unless the Doc is monitoring it for a specific reason.
