Has anyone used a website such as Request-A-Test or Walk-in-Lab to order a PSA test without a doctor’s order? It looks like the cost from LabCorp is $49 and $35 respectively. Results back in a day or two.

Yes I have. In my case it was the same lab my physician sends me to...

Was it either of the sites I listed? How was your experience?

Identical...
When you make your appointment they will give you a list of
locations. I picked the same one my physician uses. I can't say it will work that way for you...

We use walk in lab and like it a lot. Results come the next day directly to me even if it's a Saturday. I can send them to our doctor by simply pushing a button and entering their fax number. They also send coupons via email. I use their uPSA so that price is a little higher than what you have listed, it's about
$100 and around $70 with the coupon.
The lab is Labcorp. My husband sees the same tech each time and they've developed a nice relationship.

I have used Direct Lab (which uses Lab Corp too), all went well, but they do not do insurance (and I expect the others are the same), so I usually use the hospital lab unless I know the test is not covered.

Medicare covers my PSA tests and I'm sure my doctor can code the tests so I can have them at 3 month intervals but I may want to have another lab for comparison from time to time or do the test more frequently than 3 months since I'm bouncing. It's just too much of a hassle to explain to my doctor's staff what my intentions are. I'm willing to pay out of pocket occasionally to avoid the aggravation.

Just be aware that the results may be different as well...
I think it's prudent to stick with the same lab.
