Forget the MEAL study, that must be a week old already. Here is a new study.
"New research now suggests that consuming less dietary fat after being diagnosed
with breast cancer may significantly improve a person's survival rate."
/www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/321926.phpNo! No! Sorry that's a day old already. That would be like eating stale bread,
that is, if I was allowed to eat bread, which I'm not.
48,835 women enrolled, for 20 to 25 years. Those are large numbers, so we should
be impressed.
Do you know what would be even more impressive? Forty eight men without their
prostates, and rising PSA. Spoon feed them carefully selected meals. Then measure
their PSA every four weeks. Look at the results, adjust their diets and repeat. In two
years you will know more about
food and cancer than we learned over the last few
hundred years. From that data you can come up with three levels of dietary advice.
Level I - Moderation! It won't do a darn thing for your cancer nor your heart, but it
doesn't hurt either, and it's easy to maintain. We can call this the "Pratoman Diet",
until I can get him to clean up his act, then we'll rename it.
Level II- Moderation Plus! It won't do a darn thing for your cancer but will be heart friendly.
Let's call this the "Ak Diet", until I can get him on the Labcorp test and we make
some real progress. Then we'll rename that diet as well.
Level III- A serious heart and cancer diet, hard to stay on, but it really works. Hopefully,
someday, we can name this the "Clay Diet", but we're not quite there yet, and
the name could be dangerous, with people eating the wrong thing.
As always, there's the Level "0" diet, which is the "I will eat damm thing I want, when I
want it - Diet". We can name this diet after . . . my goodness, so many names
to choose from.
