Spacer, Golden seed..?

Okay, Yesterdays visit with the URO, He mentioned the RO might want me to get the spacer, I have read about it, But can't remember the technical name of it....
And URO mentioned the Golden seed....?

SpaceOAR. TA's done a few posts about it and as I recall it doesn't really have the advantage it advertises.

The gold markers are standard for primary RT. They'll place three gold seeds in your prostate to help the daily CT scan locate your prostate during treatments. The procedure is like your biopsy - only three sticks this time.

and did he mention the three tattoo dots you'll get?

This is a decision for an RO, not a Uro.

My fiducials were placed by a uro (with direction from an RO). One RO I spoke to injects the hydrogel himself - my RO doesn't believe in it - he says it distorts the prostate image.

Why is it when I read posts I see some posts from certain people but when I log in a can’t see them ..am I blocked by that person ...I want to reply to idog before he makes a serious mistake

Stan, if someone blocks you, you should still be able to see their posts, unless you blocked them. Go to Profile, and click on Ignored Users, to see if you might have accidentally blocked someone.

And what PDL said. With Radiation being a very acceptable and in some cases preferable treatment for many newly diagnosed guys, we shouldn't be letting our personal experiences color our advice to others. Tell your story, thats fine. But your experience is the exception not the rule. Its not fair to others to scare them away from legit treatments, IMO.

If you want to chat I dog I will give you my number and opinion ..l don’t get it ...listen u are already saying if something goes wacky u will infirm us.....whyyyyyyyyyyy pleaseeee your prostate is big do u have urinary issues if u do now it will be worse ...I don’t know what I was thinking ....what ever life we have left ..
Think about it pleaseeee I do t know what I was doing.or thinking ..if I could only go back ..of corse my anxiety and sleep problems don’t help...
But think about it with your PSA and low Gleason and age ..if u do surgury u go there stay over night home next day ..Cather 10 days ....then u pee like a young man ....so maybe u leak...which u probsbly won’t and ED. Maybe ed is a drag for u ....but I’m blocked up on both ends I’m up all night peeing every hour I’m tired I’m weak ..I had bloody stools for a week ..but dude to be able yo pee freely and eat whatever I want and drink whatever I want ...I have to take flomax twice a day I don’t sleep cause I’m always up .brother with your stats and PSA and a great surgeon u would be good to go .....and will know in 6 weeks ...not years ..if you have made up your Mind I pray fir u bro I really do.
