In 2011, I was diagnosed with Gleason 3 + 3 prostate cancer. In June 2011, I had brachytherapy and within two years my PSA dropped to 0.1 from pre-treatment value of 3.4.
Then between 2015 and 2016, my PSA rose to 1.5 by July 2016. A second biopsy detected as extra-prostatic cancerous mass. I had 6 months ADT and cyberknife and my PSA dropped to undetectable by April 2017 and stayed there until January 2018. Then it started rising rapidly: April 0.2, July 0.9, and August 1.3.
Both a bone scan and a CT turned out to be negative.
It appears that my cancer has become metastatic.
