New Format non functioning?

Seems lately that some of this new format is not working well.
I log in to see not just what new posts are there but if there have been additions to post I have looked at and/or responded to.
Lately more often than not all threads show no new posts and the last seen function is also not working. Makes it inconvenient to use.

Roger, I haven’t experienced this, maybe others have. I’m guessing it’s growing pains and there are kinks still being worked out. Maybe the other mods have some insight, so I’m bumping this up

I've not noticed any problems. Might be browser specific.

This happens to me if the system has logged me out, which it does automatically every few days. I don't recognize until I try to post something, log in and then all my previously read posts are appropriately marked. The old system did the same thing.

Yup I noticed the same thing too, it looked to me like there were no new posts. Today was the first time in weeks of looking at this site that I was prompted to sign in, maybe that’s it...

Old Beek, If you get to the Prostate Forum Page you will see way up on top the box for My Profile. As the guys have said there are some glitches in this new forum that are a pain you know where the biggest one for me is looking back at the posts when you are replying to make sure you read things right when you are responding. I now open up two windows so I can go back and forth that's the only way I can think to do it. I also miss the emoticons on the side of the posts but hopefully as they work through these glitches soon and things will be back to normal. Well maybe a new normal as I always say. LOL

FWIW, I dislike the new format on my PC, but it is nice on my cell phone. I understand the need for an updated BB format to support multiple devices, so I will grin and bear it... smile

I just noticed: when I quote a post, their words are not showing up in a separate block from mine. If I don't do something to make it clear, it looks like my words are their words. Just FIY.

Once again: As I posted before. When I log in all threads show NO new posts and none of the "last seen" are listed as such. I have tried several different routes coming in and they are all the same. If this holds true to form later tonight or tomorrow I will come back in and everything will be fine.
Anyone else have these issues?

It has to do with cache refreshing. I am not a web geek, so can't say anything more of use.

Peter is still working on the format, and changes are still in the mill.

The new layout is so much nicer. But I do miss the button to return to the top of the thread. Not a big deal though.
