We recently had a thread citing the obituary, which I assume many of us read, of a rough-and-tumble, larger-than-life sort of fellow, whose lust for life was both amusing, but also inspirational.
Well, today I came across another out-of-the-ordinary obituary, for a remarkable woman who died young (age 35), also from cancer.
Like the fellow's obit, this one was also so impressive that I thought it worth posting about
, and offering it for you to read.
It's very compelling (she wrote it herself, shortly before she died), as it reveals such a wonderful, and amazingly positive attitude, both toward life, and toward one's own impending demise.
(And anybody who, as she tells us, names their pet (cat?) Boo-Boo has a wonderfully positive outlook. Especially if she then says of her own life: "darn, it was good!").
She was not only an extraordinarily beautiful (as her photo shows) young woman, but remarkably beautiful in spirit as well. The words of her own self-written obituary are so touching and inspirational.
May we all depart with such an uplifting, loving attitude and such a positive spirit.
