6 month PSA Test -

Had my 6 month Uro appointment and my PSA has risen from .06 to .36

I'm thinking i'ts a bounce but the number wasn't what we hoped for.

Uro contacted me and recommended another test in 3 mo.

I know that there's a lot of older posts regarding PSA Bounce but can't figure out how to search for these..

Could be a bounce.

Let us know what the retest says.

Man Fred...in the upper right corner of the screen there is a search box. Type “PSA bounce” in to that box and hit return, or go. You will get a ton of links to relevant comments.
And yes, could very well be a bounce. So try not to stress just yet.

Those PSA numbers are still quite low for someone with an irradiated prostate.
Some action would be required at (PSA) nadir + 2.
It would be informative to know when Lupron was discontinued.

PSA test on Jul 30. 0.06. Good news

As predicted by those who replied to my post 3 months ago, my last PSA (.36) was a bounce.

Last Lupron Shot expired November 2016. I had a Testosterone test in April 2017 - 217. No further T-tests

It is in the correct time range for a bounce. Just have to watch it every three months and see what the trend becomes. Recent results may have told you the story.

With the G8 high risk dx you should keep a close watch on this. I also was high risk and my docs still have me on quarterly tests.

Congratulations on the drop. I think you have some additional breathing room. Hope it stays that way.
