Just had my blood test before meeting with my MO in two weeks. He has talked about
doing a Pet Scan as next step if my PSA keeps rising before going forward with ADT. With my PSA this low was wondering how effective a Pet Scan would be, and totally confused when I should start at looking to ADT.
Also what is the difference between Degarelix and Lupron... Thanks

With your PSA of .379, I would think PET scan when it reaches something over 1.0.

Mayo clinic has asked me to wait for PSA to get near 1 before doing either choline 11 or PSMA PET scans. I hate to wait but I think it is good that I did in that both times the scans showed areas that could be radiated.
