6 years out from triple play

6 years from the end of treatment. Still less than .1 Never had a PSA bounce or a detectable PSA since. Still get an adrenaline rush pulling up the report online though..Symptom free except loss of ejaculate, maybe 85-90% full on chub, no meds needed, so more than a 3/4 husky, as they say. Still have nocturia, but had that prior to treatment. Part of it from the ageing process?

So no radiation type side effects to date, and I had 6 weeks of external beam plus brachy, 9 months of ADT and boost radiation at the end, with a green light laser surgery in between external beam and brachy. Experienced RO made all the difference

Only continuing meds, 5 mg of finasteride cause I had an enlarged prostate going into this thing, RO said I should stay on it indefinitley
So a combination of the correct treatment for my version of pc, a top RO and luck

Glad to hear your success! I'm a little over five years from my own triple play if you measure it by when I finished my ADT. (Six plus years from the end of my radiation.) No real side effects on my end either--I take a Rapaflo once a week or so.

I am eight years and about eight months from using the triple play as well. No negative treatment side effects. Drug of choice is a nice bourbon. Not on any meds from PCa.

Wayne that is a great report. Shows how effective HDR and Triple Play can be for us high risk guys and without the scars of surgery. You have reached a very low PSA nadir and that is a positive sign. Clearly you have a long way to go and will know a lot more after the ADT stops. But here is best wishes to a very long and durable remission.
