Not Letting Cancer Define You

That’s not so easy sometimes, as many of us know. I’ve struggled with that, especially in the 6 months after my treatment, and again when I recurred.
Here’s a great example if someone who just won’t let that happen. At least that’s what I take from the article...

And no, I’m not talking about the cleavage, I’m talking about the mindset.

cancer is not the boss of me.
I'm the boss of cancer.
I crushed it's head under my heal
and grounded its evil DNA
into dust.

Yep, pros and cons. Although, I suppose, depending on mind set and personal preferences, maybe only pros, win/win. ;)
