Moved toTexas. Previous uPSA testing at Horizon Labs, which I understand, use the Siemens assay Dimension Vista which has down to .010 sensitivity. Last uPSA was in June with < .010 reported. Relocated in July. PCP seen for normal healthcare issues ordered a PSA with T for me in Sep. Specifically requested uPSA and Quest lab tech informed me that ultra sensitive was ordered. Obviously not, as PSA came back as < .1 with a T of 28 up from 16 in June. Standard test is of no use to me for monitoring at all as I now must "rebuild" monitoring data points using the same assay. Being seen at University of Texas Health Science Center, urology, with an appointment with them last week. Doctor they scheduled me to see, when questioned, informed me that he did not specialize in PCa, almost everything else buy not PCa. I requested transfer to another who specialized in PCa and was transferred to an extremely experienced physican. However, I have to wait until Jan to get into my first appointment with him. Was given orders to get uPSA immediately and another for Jan prior to next appointment. Hospital uses either Quest or Lab Corp, I have decided to use only LC and had them do a draw last Friday. So, 7 months out from SRT using Roche ECLIA my results are PSA < .006... Just going day-by-day and don't really stress over things I have no control over. It is what it is! My heartfelt blessings to all companions on this journey. Cheers
