I recently had my 1 year post SRT visit with my RO, and my results continue to look good. T Level has risen to 482 and my PSA is <0.02!
One surprise was my RO wanted to do a DRE to make sure there was no scar tissue or nodularity from the radiation.
My next visit and testing is with my Urologist next May. I really have no ill affects from either the SRT or ADT, and my ED is improving.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel for us G9 / T3A prostate cancer patients.

Capt - We have similar profiles as you noted in the past. I am rooting for you and hope that we both reach the light at the end of the tunnel, so far so good. As my Dad once said, “I am cured until I hear differently and shall live my life that way.” I am trying to follow his lead since he is 92 and still rocking it. The 3 month reminders are not particularly helpful though but getting used to them. Good to hear you are doing well.

Seems like a great outcome. My MO did several DREs over time to check for possible growth in prostate bed. He thought something was there but decided it was a staple. WTH?
