We have had it better here in OK than a lot of the rest of the country, probably due to the fact of how rural most of the state is. Haven't seen my parents in 3 months, only seen my grandson twice in that time. Get up and go to work everyday just like usual, the wife is working from home.
We never did lock down like most other states did and it seems now like that was a good thing, I don't think the numbers would have changed much.
Lowes, Home Depot and the like have been busy every weekend since this started.
I am ready for normal again and will not get on an airplane or go to a sporting event or concert probably for quite some time.
I gather with a few of the neighbors a few times a week in my shop.
Went out and sat down at a restaurant for lunch with co workers yesterday for the first time even though it was outside if felt good.
I'm am ready for a slow opening back up of the state and the numbers will more than likely come up some but we can't wait forever. Folks are tired of being locked down and they are getting restless.
Time will tell if it was to early and a lot of people around here are still not ready to venture out much but a lot are, it has to happen at some time and we can't wait until next spring for a remedy for this.
